You could say I love any holiday that involves eating but there is something definitely special about Thanksgiving.
People are more grateful and generous during this occasion. When I lived in Calgary, I had offers after offers to turkey dinner from friends and colleagues. I suspect they were worried that I would eat instant noodles or let the Swiss Chalet delivery driver stay over for dinner.
Now that I’m close to my family again, I relish the quality time spent with them.
Aside from a fabulous feast, Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on what’s important and an opportunity to express our deepest gratitude. I count my blessings every day for my family, friends, health, blog readers and other little things that makes my life better.
