Happy Canada Day!!!
I’m visiting Calgary – my former home – for a week. It’s sunny outside today which is perfect for the Canada Day festivities.
What I love about summer is the abundance of outdoor activities, events and gatherings especially a good ol’ barbecue.
I love bbqs because of the versatility in creating dishes and drinks; quick and simple preparation and easy clean up.
At every bbq, the staples include:
– Signature cocktail or mocktail
– Type of meat
– Grilled vegetables
Growing up, I would enjoy corn with just butter. I didn’t think anything could be better until I discovered…
Garlic butter, lime juice and zest, garlic powder and chili flakes with cilantro.
This begs the question … am I missing out on other dressings?
